April – Supporting Children’s Services Through United Way

community_nonprofit_6x3

Mesa County Women’s Network raises awareness to community issues through education and participation in on-site volunteerism. Through this process we also encourage members to contribute to local charities they feel passionate about supporting.

Programs funded by United Way of Mesa County currently support about 50,000 people and 43 programs in Mesa County. Every funded program is carefully evaluated throughout the year to make sure they achieve measurable outcomes. Our April program will walk us through the process of discovering your gifts and passion to make an impact in the community. And who better to do that than Brenda Baecker, with United Way of Mesa County!?

In support of this and the valuable programs United Way supports, Kerri Kemper, with Sole Essentials, will sponsor a self care basket to raffle off and raise awareness to National Child Abuse Prevention Month. April’s charitable donations will give you a chance to win, support United Way, and the many programs that help bring awareness to this cause. Organizations like CASA, Child & Migrant Services, Karis, Inc. (The House), Mesa County Partner’s, Center for Children, and more. Your gift can make a HUGE impact.
